The FTSE/Athex Financial Services index started on December 30, 2005 with 5,000 as its basis. It was designed by Athens Exchange in cooperation with FTSE International Limited and it depicts, on a real time basis, the performance of the shares which constitute the Financial Services super sector according to the Industry Classification Benchmark (ICB).
