The FTSE/Athex Mid & Small Cap Factor-Weighted index started on October 29, 2012 with 1,000 points as its basis and it was designed by Athens Exchange in cooperation with FTSE International Limited. The main goal of the index is to represent, on a real time basis, the performance of the twenty (20) strongest in terms of fundamental ratios listed companies in Athens Exchange.
