GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE BANK OF GREECE

It is hereby announced that this 6th of September 2024, during the meeting of the General Council of the Bank of Greece, Mr Vasileios D. Kotsovilis was sworn in as a new member of the General Council under Article 22 of the Bank's Statute. Mr Kotsovilis was appointed member of the Monetary Policy Council for a six-year term by the Presidential Decree of 12 August 2024 (Government Gazette YODD 873/12.8.2024) and, as such, also participates in the General Council under Articles 21 and 35A of the Bank's Statute. Thus, the new composition of the General Council of the Bank of Greece is as follows:

It is further announced that, at the same meeting, the General Council of the Bank elected Mr Dimitrios Papalexopoulos as Alternate Member to replace Mr Spyridon Theodoropoulos, who resigned. Mr Papalexopoulos will be sworn in at a later meeting of the General Council.
